About me
Al began his career in the mid-1970s serving in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician repairing cryptographic communications gear. In late 1979 he started at IBM and over the next 31 years holding many roles from Services to Marketing to Sales to Management. He retired from IBM at the end of 2010 and joined one of IBMs distributors, Avnet Technology Solutions, where he retired at the end of 2017. After trying real retirement in 2018 he quickly realized that he wanted to stay active in the industry and was hired by Fluency Corp where he is now the Managing Director. Al and his wife also own a working 70-acre ranch in Central Texas raising cattle, exotic deer and Aoudads.
