About me
Joshua Dray is a cybersecurity leader with over a decade of experience, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at San Jacinto College. He has played a pivotal role in strengthening the college’s security posture by further developing its cybersecurity program to align with state legislation and regulatory requirements while implementing and evolving a cybersecurity strategy to protect the college and student data against the ever-changing threats in the cybersecurity landscape. Prior to academia, he spent 11 years in the U.S. Air Force, specializing in defensive cyber operations and managing security measures against nation-state threats. Joshua is also driving the development of the college’s first Student-Augmented Security Operation Center to provide hands-on experience for students to accompany the college’s Cybersecurity program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and multiple cybersecurity certifications. He is finishing his Master of Legal Studies in Cybersecurity Law and Policy at Texas A&M in the Summer of 2025.
